Job Role

We are seeking a talented technical resource to work in the trading field. As a Python Developer, you are going to work with the desk to develop and enhance the company’s trading strategies and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build tools to monitor and calibrate credit market-making algorithms
  • Develop and maintain analytics and attributions
  • Collaborate with trading desk to facilitate improved performance
  • Develop  trading engines and strategies
  • Ensure strong reliability, scalability, and performance of the core algo components
  • Work with other e-trading teams to support live trading
  • Learn and maintain a large codebase, improve design and quality of the trading strategies code
  • Adhere to engineering standards and strive for best in class solutions

 Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field completed upon employment
  • Basics in Algorithmic Trading
  • Data analysis and mathematical modeling skills
  • Advanced knowledge in Python (Numpy, API, Pandas, Dash, Sklearn)
  • Good knowledge in Microframework (Flask, Django)
  • Basic knowledge in AWS
  • Strong communication skills (ability to present complex issues clearly, both verbally and in writing)
  • Database knowledge (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Q/kdb,)
  • Strong programming skills; at least in one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, Scala, C++
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently on multiple projects
