POSITION SUMMARY:

 

As The Site Quality Assurance Manager, you  act  as the primary contact for all quality processes, metrics and quality problems at the Factory, Sub contractors, warehouse and customer’s  warehouses or stores. 

Your Primary responsibility is to ensure producing garments as per customer/brands quality& Safety standards while minimizing costs and delays. 

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

-          Manage All Quality Processes, Metrics, Issues on a daily basis while effectively managing internal and external quality team, internal stakeholders and relationship with partners.

-          Design, implement and ensure Quality Assurance program is executed, updated and maintained in-site and at subcontractors factories.

-          Ensure finished goods are manufactured in accordance with the Site-product-Customer specifications (measurements, fabric, trims and packing) and the quality of the workmanship meets all specified standards.

-          Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.

-          Perform random quality control audits at beginning, middle and final stages of production to verify compliance and consistency of standards applications.

-          Investigate root cause, Establish and implement  specific action plans to improve results and ensure Follow up of Preventive and remediation plans

-          Drive improvement initiatives, projects and planned QMS reviews.

-          Liaise with Subcontractors to review and ensure compliance, capability and capacity to deliver as per site and customer requirements, while providing technical advice, support and best practices.

-          Proactively review supplier compliance, capability and capacity to ensure that existing and future business requirements can be met.

-          Team with Hr and other business units to Win Customer Audits and certifcations.

-          Work together with HR in the development and implementation of continual training, evaluation and improvement of Quality&Safety Standards.

-          Maintain pertinent production records for trace ability and evaluation of product and processes.

-          Collect data and prepare monthly Quality Performance reports and scorecards

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Industrial Engineering Degree
  • 8 years’ experience in Industrial Quality Management ( Apparel or Automotive Experience)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and outside.
  • Ability to manage multiple Priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong Relationship building capability.
  • Capable of statistically driven performance and issue management.
  • Ability to organize work appropriately to meet and exceed department goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively train and educate in site and off site team members.
  • A can-do/will-do/want-to-do attitude.
  • Displays a consistently high level of detail in all aspects of work, requiring the same from others.
  • Enjoys solving problems, project management and learning new things on the fly.
  • Experienced in writing and implementing Quality standard operating procedures.
  • Multilingual: Fluent French and English; Spanish, Turkish or Chinese is a plus.
  • Pack office proficiency
  • A six Sigma certification is a plus
