Position:        Project Manager, based in Tangier-Tetouan Britcham branch

Term:              Full Time, Indeterminate contract

Reports to:    General Manager & Deputy General Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects in Tangier-Tetouan on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project.

The Project Manager is responsible for promoting the Chamber of Commerce in order to manage and grow a personal Book of Business. This is accomplished through recruitment of new members, cultivating relationships with existing members and increasing member engagement to facilitate upgrades.

Main responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage client relationships, building and maintaining a network of contacts in Morocco and the UK.      
  • Help identify potential contacts within the Moroccan business community.
  • Develop the communication and marketing visibility in Tangier-Tetouan.
  • Help develop and manage events including seminars, company launch events and networking events.
  • Monitor and maintain databases and Client Relationship Management tools.
  • Assist companies exhibiting at trade fairs, participating in missions or visiting Morocco.
  • Provide advice to members.
  • Make the periodic and required reporting.
  • Develop the chambers activities and services in all North Area.
  • Organize and develop trainings for members and non-members.
  • Manage fidelity process with Tangier-Tetouan members.
  • Manage the daily operational of the office.
  • Recruit Members.
  • Organize, plan and take in charge all the administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate tasks with Casablanca’s office.
  • Taking minutes at meetings and preparing the meeting report.
  • Managing  archiving HR files
  • Organize work procedures and administrative forms.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • Bilingual, French/English – Spanish language would be an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English/French are essential.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills required to work with clients, team members and the public.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Must have effective skills in supervision, people and performance management.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, program development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Strong organization and excellent project management skills.
  • Must have ability to work effectively both independently and as member of a team and to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, database applications, internet applications, and social media.
